        Arthi
In her own words
Growing up here was a lifeline—it was a second chance at a childhood full of support. When I first came here, everything felt new and scary. I didn’t know anyone, and I missed my family a lot. But slowly, I started to feel safe. The people around me cared, listened, and helped me believe in myself. Each day, I learned something — to speak with confidence, to take care of others, and to stay strong no matter what. I’m not afraid anymore; now I know I can stand on my own.
About Arthi
Arthi is a sweet and determined young woman from Panchrukhi, Bihar. Her early childhood was marked by loss and struggle - after her mother passed away, her family faced deep financial hardship, and she stopped going to school after 1st grade. In the beginning, she used to be very quiet and unsure of herself.
At Make the World Wonderful, Arthi found a home filled with care, guidance, and joy. With the supportive culture of MTWW around her, Arthi grew from a shy girl into a confident young woman who helps those around her. She learned to express herself, stay disciplined, and face challenges with grace. Her calm focus and discipline showed in her yoga practice, where she even participated in district level competitions and won a gold medal.
Today, Arthi is pursuing her BCA degree (1st year) and working as a Game Development Intern, earning ₹20,000 per month. Her relatives, once indifferent, now praise her and her town sees her as an example of what can be achieved. Arthi hopes to bring more opportunities to children and help them believe in themselves.
