The training was primarily activity based. For example, rather than simply telling the children to be responsible, we designed a gardening activity where each child was assigned a plant to care for daily—watering it, tending to it, and ensuring its growth. Additionally, in our partnership activity, an older child was paired with a younger child, and would take care of the younger one. Through such activities, the children learned what responsibility means in practice.
